Soli Deo 7 (PTY) LTD (“Soli Deo 7”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you provide, including your name, contact number, email address, initial query, emergency selection and preferred contact method. We may also receive ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as browser, device and basic server log information.
2. Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide requested estimates or services, send a confirmation, prioritise genuine emergency requests, keep appropriate business records, improve our service and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Our lawful basis
We process information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform an agreed service, to comply with legal duties, and where necessary for legitimate business interests that do not unfairly override your rights.
4. Who may receive it
Information is available only to authorised Soli Deo 7 personnel and service providers who help us operate the website and communications. The enquiry form and website are hosted by Netlify. Google Maps and the Instagram feed supplied through SociableKIT may process technical information when their embedded services are used. These providers operate under their own privacy terms and may process data outside South Africa.
5. Retention and security
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, normally no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is required for an active project, contract, dispute or legal obligation. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your information, request access or correction, ask for deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
7. Cookies and external services
The current site does not use its own advertising cookies. Embedded Google Maps and the SociableKIT Instagram feed are provided by third parties and may collect technical information or use their own storage technologies when loaded. If additional analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this notice and the consent controls will be updated first.
